Plain and fair. This policy applies to every booking and payment made with Charis Creations Limited, online or offline. It follows our Terms of Service, which always take priority.
Why booking fees are not refundable
When you pay a booking fee, we hold your date and turn other clients away. That is why booking fees and session fees are not refunded once paid, except in the cases below.
Weddings and introductions
Cancel 60 days or more before the event: we keep the booking fee (50%) and refund anything paid beyond it.
Cancel within 60 days of the event: all money paid is kept, because the date can no longer be offered to another client.
Move instead of cancel: move your event to a new date within 6 months, if our team is free. Everything you paid moves with you.
Corporate and event coverage
Cancel 60 days or more before the event: we keep the booking fee (50%) and refund anything paid beyond it.
Cancel within 60 days of the event: all money paid is kept.
Studio sessions
Cancel more than 48 hours before: your session fee moves to a new date within 3 months.
Cancel within 48 hours, or arrive more than 30 minutes late without notice: the session fee is kept.
When you always get a full refund
We cancel for reasons beyond our control and cannot arrange a suitable alternative.
Your date was taken before your booking fee cleared.
You paid twice or paid too much by mistake. We refund the extra in full.
A payment reached us in error and was not meant for Charis Creations.
Finished work
Once photos or films are delivered, payment is not refunded. One round of revisions is included within 14 days of delivery, and we will always work with you to make it right.
How to request a refund

We reply within 2 working days to confirm whether a refund applies and how much.
Approved refunds are paid within 14 working days, to the same mobile money number, bank account or card you paid from.
Mobile money, bank or card provider charges on the original payment are not refundable.
